Responsibilities and duties of the Civil Site Engineer role
Reporting to the Project Director and Project Manager you will:Carry out setting out duties and oversee daily site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered accurately and to the required standardsAssist in the coordination and execution of civil construction activities in accordance with drawings, specifications and RAMSWork closely with site management, subcontractors and project stakeholders to coordinate works and address technical queriesPromote and maintain high health & safety standards through site inspections, audits and accurate record keepingSupport project reporting, quality assurance processes and the completion of project documentation
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)CSCS card (Engineering or above)Experience using CAD

The Civil Site Engineer role would suit someone who has:Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projectsStrong setting out capabilities and confidence interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentationSound understanding of health & safety regulations and best practices within a construction environmentEffective communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across project teamsA well-organised, proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
