Here, you’ll deliver planned, structured repairs and servicing directly to our members, whether at their driveway or workplace car park.
Your Rewarding Role Awaits
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £40,178, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your base salary to £44,385 with guaranteed overtime options, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities. Structured Work Hours: Work 40 hours a week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Responsibilities
Each day begins with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be expected to:
- Perform routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
Carry out in-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.Provide member advice and recommendations based on your inspections.Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
