Assistant Management Accountant | 3 month contract | South West London | Consumer Business | £53,000-£57,000 | 4 days per week in office |

A Management Accountant is required to work for a retail business based in South West London (4 days in the office). This role is working in a dynamic team and will be supporting the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including a range of journal entries.
• Review of the monthly results and variance analysis vs KPIs and budget
• Assist with preparation of internal reports and finance analysis
• Manage reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis ensuring high quality supporting evidence
• Assist in preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts
• Being involved in a collaborative and supportive team environment, ensuring good internal communication
• Line management of one Assistant Management Accountant
• Ad hoc duties

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will have 3+ year’s finance experience, with at least 1 year of owning month-end processes. Prior experience in a retailer or multi-site business is beneficial but not essential. You must possess strong communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
