You ll work on exciting, high impact programmes, using modern engineering and architectural principles to design and build innovative solutions for a wide range of clients. Working within mature, cross functional teams , you ll help drive digital transformation and shape the future of services across the UK. What you ll do Design, develop and maintain high quality Java applications Contribute across the full software development lifecycle Build and secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot / Spring MVC Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders Support live services and resolve complex production issues Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non technical audiences What we re looking for Strong experience with Java (Kotlin/Scala a bonus) Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) A passion for innovation and delivering high quality solutions Nice to have Kafka, SQS, Serverless (Lambda) Monitoring & logging tools (ELK, Dynatrace, Splunk) JPA/Hibernate, Swagger/OpenAPI, automated testing Mentoring experience Security: Willingness to obtain UK SC clearance if required If you re passionate about modern engineering and want to make a real impact, we d love to hear from you.
