Are you a technically strong Management Accountant who enjoys getting into the detail, supporting operational teams, and improving financial understanding across a business?

We are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a large and well-established not-for-profit organisation with a stable and highly regarded finance team. The role

You will:

• Produce management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Partner with operational managers and budget holders across the business
• Support forecasting, spend monitoring, and financial reporting across operational and project activity
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and detailed ledger analysis
• Support long-term financial planning and business reporting
• Produce detailed Excel reporting and analysis
• Assist with process improvements, controls, and financial visibility
• Support value for money reporting, benchmarking, and audit requirements
• Supervise and support a junior member of the finance team

This is a broad and evolving role offering exposure across operational and commercial finance, with genuine opportunity to develop over time.

About you

We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within Management Accounting or a technically focused finance role, ideally within not-for-profit, public sector, or similarly structured environments.

You will ideally have:

• Experience producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• The ability to work effectively across a wide range of stakeholders
