The role involves delivering and assessing formal teaching qualifications such as Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher and Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeships, while also supporting curriculum innovation, quality improvement and the embedding of inclusive teaching practices. You will work collaboratively with curriculum teams to design engaging learning resources, promote the effective use of digital technologies and ensure English, maths, employability skills and British Values are embedded throughout the learner journey.
You will contribute to creating a positive, supportive and motivating learning culture where both staff and learners are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The role also includes supporting observation processes, contributing to curriculum development activities and participating in wider college initiatives, recruitment events and professional development programmes. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting both staff and learners to achieve their full potential, while promoting an inclusive, innovative and student-centred learning culture.
You will have experience of supporting and developing teaching practice, with a strong understanding of adult learning theories and the factors that contribute to learner success. You should be confident delivering engaging and innovative learning experiences, using digital technologies and a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Strong communication, coaching and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the ability to motivate and positively influence others. You will also be committed to continuous professional development and contributing to quality improvement across the organisation.
