The role will deliver across our Digital Concept art and Animation and Media qualifications, with focus on our Level 3 Diplomas. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students to unlock their potential, develop their attributes and become lifelong learners.
You will work collaboratively with our existing team of talented and passionate teachers and vocational trainers to ensure we plan and deliver purposeful practical and theory lessons. Our students are eager to learn and we want to appoint someone who can provide them with a high level of knowledge and skills, that they can utilise in their careers or progression to University.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week based at our Oxford College.
What do you need to be successful as a Media Teacher at Activate Learning?
We are looking for people who can act as role models for our students and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work. A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is a requirement. Understanding the importance of tailoring our teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners is essential. It is also important to be able to deliver the Adobe Creative Suite confidently as well as 3D modelling. We use strategies that promote engagement, accommodate diverse learning styles, and build a strong foundation for academic growth.
Previous teaching experience in the FE sector would be an advantage, but it is not a requirement. As long as you have the qualifications or experience to teach on our Maths courses and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.
