Hays are working with a well-established and reputable company to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to join a stable business within a supportive and professional office environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance and payroll function, ensuring all financial processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Supporting month-end duties
- Handling finance-related queries
- Producing reports and updating financial information using Excel and Sage Line 50
- Ensuring all finance administration is accurate and up to date
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will be:
- Highly detail-oriented and organised
- Knowledgeable and experienced within accounts and payroll
- IT proficient, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Sage Line 50
- Able to manage their workload effectively and meet deadlines
- A proactive and reliable team player with strong communication skills
Ideally, candidates will:
- Hold an AAT qualification, or
- Be Qualified by Experience (QBE)
