Finance Assistant Job at Kidderminster, Worcestershire Full Time NEW

T2M Resourcing are working on behalf of a successful and growing business who are part of a larger group and have an opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy.

• Location: Kidderminster
• Salary up to £30,000 + Study Support if required
• On-site working

As Finance Assistant you will provide day-to-day operational support across core accounting activities, ensuring financial data is accurate, up to date, and aligned with internal procedures. You will support the finance team with expense processing, company credit card reconciliations and month-end and year-end tasks.

Key Responsibilities as Finance Assistant will include:

• Managing sales invoicing for assigned customers, ensuring invoices are raised accurately and on time
• Maintaining and monitoring customer accounts and invoice records
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure accurate billing information is received
• Processing and reconciling company credit card transactions
• Processing and reviewing employee expenses in line with company policies
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assisting with month-end and year-end finance processes
• Supporting the preparation of basic financial reports

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping support role
• Studying towards AAT
• Experience preparing basic financial reports
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to work collaboratively across teams
• A proactive approach and ability to meet deadlines
