Full job description
REED Accountancy & Finance is working with a growing online retail business to recruit a Finance Manager. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in supporting commercial decision-making within a fast-paced, digital-led environment.
The Finance Manager will be based at the organisation’s head office and will work closely with senior finance leadership and operational teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of e-commerce P&L, including sales, margins, digital marketing spend, returns and operating costs
- Finance Business Partnering to Marketing, Technology and Digital teams
- Review and analysis of promotional activity, campaign ROI and customer acquisition costs
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Ongoing performance tracking, including weekly and in-period reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Identification of cost efficiencies and process improvements
- Contribution to wider management reporting and finance projects
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience
- Strong management accounting and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills; BI tool experience advantageous
- Good understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
- Experience within retail, e-commerce, or digital-led environments preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
