We’re working on a confidential opportunity for an Interim Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team during an exciting transition period. This is a 9-month fixed-termcontract with strong potential to become permanent.
This is a hands-on role supporting both Accounts Payable and AccountsReceivable/Treasury, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices accurately and within deadlines
- Ensure correct approvals and match invoices to purchase orders
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier/customer queries
- Reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts
- Check VAT is accounted for correctly
- Reconcile daily credit card receipts and investigate variances
Additional Duties:
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Support cash collection activities
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve finance queries
- Produce ad hoc reports as required
About You:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance/accounts role
- Exposure to balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Positive, flexible, and proactive approach
