A brand new role to the business and reporting directly into the Head of IT, you will provide first and second line IT support to business users across teh firm, both on-site and remotely, taking ownership of issues and seeing through to resolution. This will include setting up, configuring and maintaining end user devices, managing asset registers, stock level and replacement of equipment, support MS 365 Windows, propriety business systems, and setting up of new user accounts, whilst also working with outsourced IT providers and vendors to resolve incidents and service issues.
In addition you will support IT security controls, updates and patches, work on compliance initiatives such as Cyber Essentials and data protection requirements, support IT projects such as system upgrades, new tech rollouts and process enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an IT support or service/help desk role; strong working knowledge of MS Windows, 365 and standard MS Office applications, have a core understanding of networking, hardware and have experience with service management networks (ITIL).
