Management Accountant
Alfreton
£40,000 – £50,000 + Study support
Full Time | 37.5 Hours Per Week
Office Based but currently doing 1 day from home

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially minded Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing business based in Alfreton. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role offers a broad and varied position with genuine opportunities for progression and development within a supportive finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and completion of month-end accounts
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
Supporting cash forecasting and cash management activities
Managing the Capex process
Producing ad hoc management reports and analysis
Supporting the wider finance function where required
Undertaking any additional reasonable duties as requested
About You:
Recently qualified or finalist ACCA / CIMA / ACA
Strong month-end and reporting experience
Advanced Excel skills
Commercial mindset with the ability to business partner effectively
Organised with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Leadership potential with ambition to progress
Full UK driving licence required
