Temporary Purchase Ledger AssistantClient: Property
Location: Dartford
Contract: Temporary until end of July (potential to extend)
Salary: £17 – £19 per hour
Your new role
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Inputting invoice data onto the COINS system
- Matching, batching and coding invoices to the correct cost centres
- Managing a busy accounts inbox, responding to supplier queries and internal requests
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with payment runs as required
- Liaising with site teams and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a purchase ledger / accounts payable role
- Comfortable processing high volumes of invoices
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy inbox effectively
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
- Immediately available to start work
