The Role – SEN HLTA
A supportive SEN school in Barking is seeking a dedicated SEN HLTA to join their team from September. As an SEN HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of engaging and accessible learning. You will be responsible for leading small group interventions, delivering pre-planned lessons when required, and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
The successful SEN HLTA will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, encouraging communication and independence, and supporting pupils in both classroom and specialist learning environments. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with pupils are essential for this SEN HLTA role.
