The Finance team are a sociable, engaging team supporting a customer-centric and cutting-edge multi-entity Business Function. The team are looking for an Assistant Accountant to support their Financial Controller in a broad and busy role.
Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional who wants exposure to a high calibre environment, real responsibility, and the chance to grow with the organisation as it scales. Core responsibilities include:
> Own and maintain the accounts payable function, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
> Perform bank reconciliations
> Prepare and post month-end journals and assist with trial balances and reporting
> Aged creditor reporting
> Provide ad hoc finance support to the Finance Director
What you’ll need to succeed
> Experience of the above core responsibilities with property accounting experience
> Actively studying towards an ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualification
> Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
> Confident communicator and effective team player
