Job Description Senior Mechanical Engineer – Data CentresLocation: Hybrid if close to offices throughout the UK or Fully RemoteSalary: £55,000–£70,000 + benefits depending on experience If you’re looking for a role where you’ll get exposure to large-scale Data Centre projects, genuine flexibility, and the chance to work alongside experienced mission-critical engineers, this is worth considering. The business has a strong pipeline of Data Centre work and offers the flexibility to work remotely while still remaining closely connected to projects and the wider engineering team.What you’ll be doingYou’ll support the delivery of mechanical building services design across Data Centre projects, working from concept through to detailed design and delivery. The role offers a good mix of technical delivery, coordination, and project involvement, alongside opportunities to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions internally.Experience within mechanical building services designPrevious Data Centre or mission-critical project experience is essentialExperience with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD and IESComfortable working within multidisciplinary project teamsAble to manage deadlines and coordinate project deliverablesDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similarSalary up to £70,000 depending on experience~ Remote working available with offices located throughout the UK~ Hybrid working for those local to the offices~ Bonus scheme~ Pension contribution~ Monthly healthcare allowance~25 days holiday + bank holidays~Annual pay reviews and progression opportunities~ Chartership support and professional development
