Temporary Accounts Payable Administrator Job at South West London, London Full Time NEW

Our client is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Administrator to join their team 4 days a week until the end of August 2026.

To be suitable you must have at least one years experience in an accounts / finance role.

What you will be doing

• Accurate data entry to register supplier invoices and payment requisitions on accounting system
• Accurate matching of supplier invoices to Purchase Orders and challenging any incorrect information
• Reassign and amend returned invoices on accounting system
• Send out electronic remittances to suppliers
• Answer and resolve enquiries from external suppliers and internal departments and respond in a professional, timely and efficient manner.
• Reconcile supplier accounts with supplier statements received.
• Check for and distribute post on a daily basis
• Provide assistance with other tasks filing, photocopying, answering phone calls and queries as required

About you

• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry
• Communicate effectively face to face, by telephone and e-mail with both finance and non-finance staff
• Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
• Motivated and competent team member
• Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Experience in accounts payable and purchase orders
• Proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team; willing to help others
