Head of Video Production (AI-Enabled)Location: LondonReporting to: FoundersSalary: Competitive + Performance BonusMalaberg is a fast-growing scale-up transforming lives with premium health, nutrition, and skincare brands, built entirely in-house as we scale across the UK and US markets.We’re hiring a Head of Video Production to lead and scale our AI-enabled content production function. This role combines video production oversight, workflow management, and operational leadership, with a strong focus on building efficient systems that enable high-volume content output.While the role includes some traditional production responsibilities, the majority of output is driven through AI-assisted content creation, content repurposing, and distributed post-production workflows.This is a hands-on leadership and project management role. You will oversee content production end-to-end: managing remote editors, coordinating priorities, building scalable workflows, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.What You Will DoCoordinate video production projects from briefing through to final delivery.Support and oversee periodic live-action shoots, ensuring footage is captured, organised, and prepared for downstream production.Review and oversee the production of both short-form and long-form video assets, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery across a distributed editing team.Build and optimise AI-assisted content production workflows using tools such as HeyGen, Kling, Veo, ElevenLabs, Runway, and emerging platforms.Work closely with copy and creative teams to transform existing concepts, source assets, and reference materials into scalable content outputs.Support the delivery of high-volume creative variations through efficient workflow management, editor coordination, and production planning.Bridge AI-generated assets with traditional post-production workflows.Manage remote editors and external production partners, balancing workloads, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring deadlines are met.Assess editor output and provide clear, constructive feedback to maintain consistency and performance.Maintain production visibility across Notion, Slack, and other internal systems, ensuring projects, assets, and priorities remain organised and accessible.Evaluate emerging AI tools and workflows, implementing solutions that improve production efficiency, scalability, and output quality where appropriate.Continuously identify opportunities to streamline production processes and increase team output.What We’re Looking ForExperience managing content production workflows, creative operations, post-production teams, or video production environments.Experience working in fast-paced environments such as DTC, eCommerce, social media, performance marketing, gaming, or digital content production.Strong understanding of video production and post-production processes, allowing you to effectively review work, provide feedback, and support editors when required.Experience using AI-powered content creation tools and an understanding of how AI can be integrated into production workflows.Experience improving or implementing workflows, systems, or operational processes that increased production efficiency and team output.Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience coordinating remote teams and maintaining quality standards across distributed contributors.Proactive in identifying workflow bottlenecks, coordinating stakeholders, and keeping projects moving forward.Bonus Points If You HaveExperience with AI video generation tools: generative video, AI audio, or multi-tool pipeline workflows.Familiarity with performance marketing and ad creative in a D2C context.Experience scaling a content production department from early-stage to high volume.A niche technical hobby or side project that demonstrates you go deep, not just broad.How To ApplyApply with your CV, a portfolio or showreel link, and a brief note on the AI video tools you are currently using in production work.
