Junior Finance Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Finance Assistant to join a well-established business based in Redhill. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance, offering hands-on experience and full training within a supportive team.
Working closely with the Finance Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Logging & distributing invoices for authorisation
- Matching invoices to goods received notes
- Processing employee expenses
- Handling bank payments
- Entering cash book transactions, including payments & receipts
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Raising & entering sales ledger invoices
- Filing financial documents & updating reports within deadlines
About you:
- Some exposure to finance or accounts is beneficial
- A basic understanding of accounting processes
- Strong attention to detail or accuracy
- A keen interest in developing a career in finance
- Organised and able to manage workload effectively
No formal qualifications are required for this role – full training will be provided. What’s most important is your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and eye for detail.
The Package:
- Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week
- Starting salary of £24,500pa (DOE)
