Reporting to the Recoveries Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing early arrears cases in line with established recoveries policies
• Handling a portfolio of customers in arrears, ensuring timely contact and resolution
• Investigating reasons for non-payment and securing commitments to clear arrears
• Applying vulnerable customer and forbearance policies to ensure fair outcomes
• Using early warning indicators to inform decisions and escalate cases as needed
• Keeping accurate, up-to-date notes and preparing management information
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve issues and support asset management
• Preparing documentation for formal arrangements and asset substitutions
• Contributing to monthly review meetings and supporting ad-hoc payment requests
• Delivering consistently high-quality customer service and logging complaints appropriately
• Maintaining regular interaction with sales, brokers, and other departments

What you will need:

• At least 1 year’s experience in Collections, Arrears Management, Credit Control, or Recoveries
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Organised, thorough, and motivated with strong attention to detail
• Able to prioritise, manage time, and meet deadlines independently or as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism and a positive, adaptable attitude
• Strong telephone communication techniques and systems awareness
