The Role:
• Managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Exposure to partnership and trust tax returns
• Capital gains tax computations and reporting
• Assisting with residency and non-resident tax matters
• P11D preparation and employment-related tax compliance
• Liaising directly with clients, advisers and HMRC
• Supporting senior staff on advisory and planning assignments
• Assisting with technical research and specialist projects
• Building strong long-term client relationships
The Candidate:
• Experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
• Strong grounding within personal tax compliance
• Confident dealing directly with clients and HMRC
• Organised with strong attention to detail
• Ambitious and keen to continue progressing within tax
• ATT qualified or studying would be advantageous
